Tighe Hall Manor was restored with great thought & attention to detail eight years ago, & is a Grade II Listed building. It overlooks the North Downs & was built around 1460. It has many wonderful timbers including some very impressive beams & large inglenook fireplaces in both the dining room & drawing room.
The house is very comfortable and welcoming. There are four double guest bedrooms with ensuite or private bathrooms & a marvellous Charles II four poster bed in one of the bedrooms.
There is a beautiful mature garden with hundreds of daffodils in the spring & many lovely roses. The large pond has been fenced off for safety reasons.
There are many lovely, historical & interesting places to visit nearby, including Sissinghurst Castle, Great Dixter, Scotney Castle & Leeds Castle, to name a few.
Before going out to dinner, guests are offered a glass of wine in the drawing room. Restaurants can be booked in advance. Well behaved dogs are welcome for a small additional charge of £10.
