A privately owned 2 bedroom, 4 berth caravan available for hire. Available for adults only.

The caravan is sited next to a small river and overlooks Rye Harbour Nature Reserve.

Just a short stroll through the Reserve is Rye Bay with its unspoilt sand/shingle beach – an ideal retreat for birdwatchers, cyclists and walkers in search of a quiet relaxing holiday.

The surrounding area has some beautiful countryside, fishing lakes, historic houses and nearby is the ancient town of Rye with its quaint cobbled streets, antique shops, tea rooms and restaurants.

Accommodation

The accommodation consists of a spacious lounge/dining area. There is a gas fire, an oil filled radiator, TV/DVD with freeview tv, binoculars and just in case the weathers not too kind, a selection of magazines, books, DVDs, board games and cards etc.

The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, with small freezer compartment, gas cooker, toaster, microwave, crockery, utensils etc, cleaning materials, washing/drying up provisions and condiments.

It has 1 double, 1 single room and a pull out single bed in the lounge, with curtain divider for privacy.

Both bedrooms have electric heaters. Duvets and pillows provided including extra blankets. Bed linen is optional and can be pre-requested when booking. The beds will be made ready for your arrival.

There is a shower room, with WC, and wash-hand basin. A hairdryer, iron and ironing board are also provided.

Behind the caravan is a decking area with table and chairs overlooking the river with views towards the Nature Reserve. The small river attracts much wildlife including varieties of birds and for keen birdwatchers, sightings of the Kingfisher.

Site Facilities

The caravan is situated on Frenchmans Beach Holiday Village. It is has its own small indoor pool, sauna, jacuzzi, launderette and clubhouse with regular entertainment. Should you wish to use the site facilities, leisure passes can be obtained from the site reception for a small charge.

Surrounding Area

The site has a small footbridge over the river giving easy access to the Nature Reserve. There are many walks, cycle routes, wading pools and bird hides for keen bird watchers. Just outside the site is Rye Harbour with all the comings and goings on the River Rother at high tide. There is also a small general store for basic shopping needs and two pubs which serve excellent food. Just a short drive is Camber Sands with its long stretch of sandy beach. Also nearby is Fairlight Country Park with its miles of lovely walks along the cliff tops.

The caravan is very homely and the owner personally undertakes the preparation and cleaning of the caravan ready for your arrival. Complimentary tea, coffee, sugar and milk await your arrival. Extra basic provisions are also provided, details of which will be supplied when booking so you know what to bring. Early check-in can be arranged mutually.

Weekly bookings commence Saturday. Short Breaks available - minimum stay 3 nights.

Adults only (Minimum age 25), no all male/female parties, no smoking or pets allowed.
