Accomodation
11th January 2012
My name is Simon Kenward, my wife Tracey and I are the current
owners of The Old Vicarage at Rye Harbour. We have just completed two years
of refurbishments to the house and have now re opened as of January 2012 as
Bed and Breakfast accommodation. We look forward to sharing the character
and sights of Rye Harbour and welcome guests both past and new to the house.
More information can be found at: http://www.oldvicarageryeharbour.co.uk/
Accomodation

The holiday village you mention is the Frenchman's Beach caravan park. I suggest you google for it. Sadly since the closing of the Old Vicarage there appears to be no-one offering B&B in the Harbour.
Accomodation
26th March 2011
Am looking for a place to stay in Rye Harbour for the first week in April. In the Rye Harbour Homepage there is mention of a holiday village, but I cannot find any other information about it. Could someone please enlighten me?
Thank you,
Ali.
Is Rye Beach Dog Friendly?
13th October 2009
You can walk your dog in the nature reserve, on the caravan site & on the beach but you must pick up its poo! There are no seasonal restrictions unlike at Winchelsea beach.
Fishing
13th October 2009
You can fish in the estuary or off the beach for free. You can fish in the private lakes at Rye Harbour but need to buy a ticket from the shop.

Hi, Can anyone tell me if I am able to fish the harbour any time I want or do I need to buy a permit from a local shop? If I can't fish what would be the closest place from there?
Is Rye Beach Dog Friendly?
15th April 2009
Hi, can anyone tell me if the beach is dog friendly? I understand there is a bird / nature reserve area close by which leads through to a caravan park-is this accessable with dogs? Any help, much appreciated.
Winter Letting Required
7th October 2007
Hi there. I am seeking to rent a property for the winter period, somewhere I can bring my son to stay with me during the weekends. (I'm going through a seperation!)
Looking from December 2007 to February / March 2007.
Maybe you have a holiday let that is available during the winter months.
Somewhere near the beach would be great (The Ridge at Winchelsea Beach would be ideal!!!)
Anyone know of anything?
